Thank you to the majority of validators and node runners have already upgraded their Nethermind and OpenEthereum nodes in anticipation of the Hardfork April 20. If you haven’t yet, please upgrade AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
It’s an easy update, and one that will increase security for bridged tokens on the chain.

🌿 Gnosis Beacon Chain Validator Growth
This week more than 5,000 new validators have onboarded to the Gnosis Beacon Chain, bringing the total to 78K+. GBC was added to stakers.info, highlighting the diversity and decentralization the GBC consensus layer is bringing to the staking ecosphere.
Nodewatch provides some interesting stats for the Ethereum and Gnosis Beacon Chain. As GBC continues to grow, nodes are now running in 23 countries with 46.3% of nodes running in non-hosted environments (meaning they are not running on a cloud service).
Compared with Ethereum we can see about 1/3 of the countries represented but with a larger % of non-hosted nodes. We will continue encouraging diversity through the DappNode hardware initiative and other programs designed to support small node operators.
Ethereum Beacon Chain: 68 Countries, 41% non-hosted nodes.
Gnosis Beacon Chain: 23 countries, 46.6% non-hosted nodes.
Liquid Staking with Stakewise continues to grow as stakers onboard and receive sGNO and rGNO, which can then be used in other applications like Curve. Learn more about the program and how to start staking with any amount of GNO.

🦄 Integration Updates
Uniswap v3 Consensus Check is now live with support heavily in favor of deployment on Gnosis Chain.
The proposal is currently on step 5 of 6 in the process. If the Consensus check passes, an on-chain vote will determine the outcome. You can follow the proposal here and be sure to vote on this important deployment!
Trustlines Network has submitted a proposal to migrate to the Gnosis Chain. They’ve been running on their own dedicated blockchain for the past three years, and have identified use-cases on GC that would benefit their community and support long-term growth. The RealT Money Market platform is live on the Gnosis Chain! You can now use RealTokens as collateral for borrowing at rmm.realtoken.network.
Nabox wallet announced an integration with GC this week. The list of wallets supporting GC continues to grow, a list is available here.
Pocket Network provides support for the GC, especially in times of high traffic. This week Gnosis Chain joins the Pocket 100M relays club with 100M relays in 24 hours!
