Symmetric is launching v2 farms on Celo and v2 in full on Gnosis! Incentives and rewards will transition from v1 to v2 in the coming weeks. LPs need only withdraw liquidity from v1 and add back to v2.

GIP-55: Should GnosisDAO fund Dark Forest DAO for Arena game mode on Gnosis Optimism?
Dark Forest DAO (dfdao) is a team of developers and players that have been building on top of Dark Forest, an open-source, web3 game.
This proposal is to request payment of $159,000 from GnosisDAO for Phase 2 of our work, due to the xDAI / Gnosis merger.

GIP-58: Karpatkey DAO Service Extension
This proposal focuses on the Gnosis Chain and treasury development, seeking to reduce risk exposure, develop anti-liquidation bots to increase capital efficiency, update our security protocol, run security audits, further improve our reporting, execute and manage a sustainable rewards plan for new and existing protocols in the Gnosis Chain, and scout attractive new ones to make them part of the GC.

GIP-57: Should Gnosis DAO support research of a zkSNARK-enabled light client and bridge?
The current Gnosis bridge is a based on a multi-sig design. However, multi-sig bridges have known weaknesses, particularly their reliance on a relatively centralized set of operators--see the recent Ronin bridge and Harmony bridge hacks, in which hundreds of millions of dollars of funds were stolen by attackers who gained access to multi-sig keys. SNARK-enabled bridges--sometimes called "trustless" bridges--potentially have better security properties. The OxPARC community proposes to build prototypes of essential infrastructure for a potential SNARK-enabled bridge for Gnosis to Eth2 bridging.
Voting concluded on July 12, 2022 with 99.89% of voters supporting the GIP with 206K GNO.

GIP-59: Should GnosisDAO fund Circles UBI R&D work?
CirclesUBI is a basic income system for communities built on the GnosisChain. It was coined first by Martin Koeppelmann during the early days of Ethereum, merging ancient traditions of mutual credit with the idea of Unconditional Basic Income (UBI) into a system of personal currencies.
This proposal would fund the Circles Coop and the Bitsposessed developer collective to support the CirclesUBI team’s R&D costs for one and a half years and expand operations at a total of USD - $3.571 Million.
🏘 DAO of the Week: Trusted Seed
Trusted Seed is a trust-gated community and legal member of a Swiss entity that provides legal strategies for innovators and entrepreneurs in the web3 public goods space to have access to labor and capital. Members receive POAPs for voting permissions within general assemblies.
Scholarships are available for membership, which is $450/yr. Anyone with a Trust token, on Gnosis Chain, is considered trustworthy, and membership is reserved for value-aligned humans who care about advancing the mission of web3 public goods.
Members can pay their dues at Giveth and anyone interested can apply for membership through Commons Stack.
