It's DappCon time!
After a year of hard work and preparation, the time is finally upon us. DappCon is here! The agenda is live and we’re so excited to get together - in person! DappCon runs from the 12th to the 14th of September at Radialsystem, Berlin. That’s three days of incredible talks, workshops, and events about Ethereum core development, UBI and, of course, Dapps.
Gnosis Beacon Chain merge update
Gnosis Chain currently has two clients: Nethermind + OpenEthereum. Post-merge Gnosis Chain’s main client will be Nethermind with Geth and Erigon coming online in the near future to increase client diversity.

Gnosis Beacon Chain is the most decentralized validator set next to Ethereum. The barrier to entry for becoming a validator is, by design, very low - it only requires one $GNO and, with a Dappnode, you can spin up a validator from home in a few clicks. Contributors around the globe can run a node and participate in staking consensus.

Teams from Commons Stack and TEC joined the GBC validator community on the Gnosis Chain Discord this week for a community demo about the Praise Reward System. The session included a walk-through of how the Praise Reward System works, why it was implemented and how it’s modified for the GBC validator community. Gnosis Safe rebranded as Safe this week. We can’t express how excited we are for the Safe team and the Gnosis ecosystem. Safe is the community-owned account standard and public good for web3.
