🏘 DAO of the Week: RnDAO

RnDAO (R&D DAO) is a platform and network of teams collaborating on DAO research and prototyping tools for DAOs.

Teams usually start with public goods research about DAOs or helping clients find Product-Market fit (through extensive user research and distilling the fundamentals of the problem). When opportunities are spotted that fall outside the scope of clients, a team assembles and builds upon the research to develop a solution.

Their research expertise is well sought after, and they have published several authoritative thought-leadership pieces. Some examples are Conceptual foundation of DAOs, How to measure community and 9 Challenges of subDAOs.

Azuro’s Bet of the Week on bookmaker.XYZ

Time to check in with Azuro Protocol, and their first front-end, bookmaker.XYZ again.

This week’s bet of the week comes to you via the Peruvian Primera Division for Academia Deportiva Cantolao - Karlos Stein. 

One bettor took quite a sizeable bet on the Double Chance markets, betting 1120 xDAI bet on odds of 1.26. Cantolao did take the win, 3 - 2. The payout - 1411.5 xDAI (+26%). Cantolao was the clear favourite here; this bettor wasn’t taking any chances; they played it smart and safe.

On the other side of the spectrum, we have another bettor taking an entirely different approach. Throwing caution to the wind and taking home 2 HUGE wins on massive underdogs.

One sharp bettor put 9 xDAI at odds of 11.27 on Germany - Hungary. Despite Germany being a clear favourite, Hungary took the lead early, and Germany couldn’t find an opportunity. The result was a 101.5 xDAI win (+1027%).

His next bet was 5 xDAI at 10.55 odds for Faroe Islands - Turkey. The result was 53 xDAI win!!

We can already see this bettor will be a menace during the world cup.
